Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Good morning, gentlemen. Two things: in your document here, you say your main goal is to increase the number of professionals, to have 2,500 admissions in five years and 1,200 graduates. That's less than half of the people who enrol.
Am I right? That means that along the way, you will lose all those people? Has it been too long since I was in school?

That is what I would have thought. That is reassuring. Thank you very much.
Secondly, our researchers referred us to a 1961 royal commission—a long time ago—under the chairmanship of Justice Emmett Hall, which recommended that the University of Moncton have a medical school. Forty years later, do you think such a project would be feasible? Would the costs be prohibitive? Do you have an opinion on that?

Thank you very much, Mr. Chairman. My comments will be very brief.
Based on what I've heard this morning, I think we should move as quickly as possible to consider Bill C-26.
Thank you.

Thank you, Mr. Chairman.
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.
Mr. Sylvain, you have given us a list of projects supported by your council. These involve research on Canada's linguistic duality. This is for a four-year period. The list seems to include a number of the items that we have discussed. What percentage of the applications submitted to your council on a yearly basis would this represent, for example?

We would like to have information on the proportion of applications submitted, not only in this field but in this one particularly, and we would also like to know how many were accepted.
Ms. Gilbert, you mentioned a project you are in charge of involving the health of francophone communities. Did I understand that correctly? If so, can you elaborate?

Good morning to both of our witnesses.
The institutes submit a report every year on official languages, is that not correct? In the 2002-2003 report, you mentioned a complaint filed with the commissioner. Can you explain the nature of that complaint to us? Can you tell us whether, in your opinion, it was justified and if the commissioner has responded?

Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.
After having heard Mr. Godin, I just want to make sure that I understood everything correctly. Will the 200 million dollars a year be indeed spent exclusively on French or English education in a minority situation?

Fine.
You also talked about increasing the number of people who have the right to minority language education to 80 per cent. How do you define someone who has the right to such an education?
