Petition to the Government of Canada

• The United Kingdom, Canada’s Five Eyes intelligence partner and a fellow NATO ally, formally proscribed Palestine Action as a terrorist organization under the Terrorism Act 2000 effective July 5, 2025, following the group’s break-in at RAF Brize Norton, and the UK Court of Appeal upheld that designation as lawful and proportionate on June 15, 2026;
• On July 12, 2026, an active Canadian chapter operating as “Palestine Action Canada” publicly claimed responsibility for targeting Dishon Limited, a manufacturer in Concord, Ontario, and accompanied its claim with an open call for others to join in disrupting the company — demonstrating that the group’s campaign of direct action against Canadian businesses is already operational on Canadian soil; and
• The Government of Canada has not designated Palestine Action as a listed terrorist entity under the Criminal Code, despite the group meeting the same threshold that led an allied democracy to proscribe it, and despite formal requests from Canadian civil society organizations that Ottawa review the group against that threshold.
