Petition to the Government of Canada

Whereas:
  • Recent discussions about Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) highlight the need for a coordinated and transparent approach in Canada;
  • Currently, UAP-related information is scattered across departments, leading to inconsistent responses; and
  • Our allies, like the United States, have made significant strides with dedicated offices and public reporting mechanisms, and Canada could benefit from similar efforts to enhance national security, public safety, and scientific understanding.
We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to:
1. Establish a National Task Force on UAPs, including representatives from the Department of National Defence, Transport Canada, Public Safety Canada, and scientific experts, that would investigate, analyze, and publicly report on UAP activities, promoting transparency and a coordinated response;
2. Develop enhanced reporting and investigation protocols, standardizing protocols for UAP reporting and investigation and ensuring timely information sharing across governmental and scientific bodies to respond consistently and effectively;
3. Create a public reporting system for UAPs, implementing a secure, centralized system for public UAP reports, accessible to all Canadians, with regular updates on findings to ensure transparency and public trust; and
4. Actively pursue and engage in international collaborations for the research and study of UAPs, given that by cooperating with allied nations, we can leverage collective expertise and data to foster a more comprehensive understanding of these phenomena.
