M-112 Exposure of members of the Armed Forces to toxic chemicals

Motion Text

That, in the opinion of the House, the government should instruct Veterans Affairs Canada and the Department of National Defence to work together to: (a) fully investigate the past and present exposure of members of the Armed Forces to toxic chemicals, including, but not limited to, (i) asbestos, (ii) lead, (iii) lubricants, (iv) cleaners, (v) chemical spraying, (vi) spraying at CFB Gagetown, (vii) depleted uranium, (viii) radiation, (ix) other chemicals; (b) report these findings back to the House; and (c) ensure that all veterans and Canadian Forces members are compensated for any injuries or disease due to exposure.
