Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the committee commenced its study on the role of the Canada Border Services Agency in the H2O Highway corridor and port clearance practices.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $20,750, for the study of the role of the Canada Border Services Agency in the H2O Highway corridor and port clearance practices, be adopted.

Cathy Toxopeus made a statement and, with Daniel Anson, answered questions.

At 4:35 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 4:39 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Ian Hamilton and Isabelle Viau made statements and answered questions.

At 5:34 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
