Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, September 18, 2025, the committee resumed its study of Canada-United States border management.

Ranatiiostha Swamp, Brian Sauvé, and Leah West made statements and, with Lucas Bédard, answered questions.

At 12:29 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:36 p.m., the meeting resumed.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the drafting of the report on Canada-United States border management, the analysts include any relevant testimony heard during the committee's study of Bill C-12, An Act respecting certain measures relating to the security of Canada's borders and the integrity of the Canadian immigration system and respecting other related security measures, as well as external sources referenced by witnesses.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the drafting of the report on Canada-United States border management, recommendations be submitted to the clerk no later than Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.

At 12:54 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
