Pursuant to Standing Order 81(4), the committee commenced consideration of the Main Estimates 2026-27: Vote 1 under Office of the Auditor General, referred to the committee on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

The Chair called Vote 1 under Office of the Auditor General.

Karen Hogan made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

Vote 1 under Office of the Auditor General, less the amounts voted in the interim supply, carried.

ORDERED, — That the Chair report Vote 1 under Office of the Auditor General, less the amount voted in the interim supply, to the House.

At 5:13 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 5:22 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the committee resumed consideration of the Public Accounts of Canada 2024 and Public Accounts of Canada 2025, referred to the committee on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, and Friday, November 7, 2025.

Alexis Corbett made a statement and, with Coralia Bulhoes, answered questions.

Motion

Ned Kuruc moved, — That the Governor of the Bank of Canada and the Senior Deputy Governor of the Bank of Canada appear before the committee for one hour, in relation to the Public Accounts of Canada 2024 and Public Accounts of Canada 2025, before the summer adjournment.

Debate arose thereon.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 8; NAYS: 0.

At 6:15 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
