The Minister made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.
It was agreed, — That the committee add two meetings with additional witnesses further to the upcoming appearance of the President of the Treasury Board and the relevant deputy minister regarding the budget cuts identified in the comprehensive expenditure review, provided that the meetings are held following the consideration of the subject matter of Bill C-15 and the consideration of the upcoming Supplementary Estimates (C), 2025–26.
Questioning of the witnesses resumed.
At 12:19 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
