Pursuant to the order of reference of Tuesday, November 18, 2025, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-14, An Act to amend the Criminal Code, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and the National Defence Act (bail and sentencing).

At 12:03 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:08 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Dr. Kelly W. Sundberg, Tiago Múrias and Peter Copeland made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the meeting on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, begin at 3:30 p.m.

At 1:04 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
