Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the committee resumed its study of Indigenous Policing and Public Safety.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 11:58 a.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:01 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee commenced its study of collaborative approaches to enforcement of laws in Indigenous communities.

It was agreed, — That, the committee present the report entitled “Collaborative Approaches to Enforcement of Laws in Indigenous Communities” from the second session of the 43rd Parliament; and that pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, December 1, 2025, the committee commenced its study of affordability challenges in Northern Canada.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $39,850, for the study of affordability challenges in Northern Canada, be adopted.

At 12:49 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
