Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, September 18, 2025, the committee resumed its study of youth employment in Canada.

Heather Exner-Pirot, Milan Bernard, Nicholas Salter made statements and, with Morgan Gagnon, answered questions.

At 12:06 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:11 p.m., the meeting resumed.

On motion of Garnett Genuis, it was agreed, — That the committee direct the analysts to prepare a draft travel proposal based on informal feedback from committee members, following consultation with the parliamentary secretary and the vice-chairs, and that the travel proposal be distributed to committee members for consideration as soon as possible.

Renze Nauta, Catherine Swift, and Sarah Watts-Rynard, made statements and answered questions.

At 1:18 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
