Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, February 9, 2026, the committee resumed its study on Atlantic mackerel and Atlantic herring fisheries.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft letter.

It was agreed, — That the committee adopt the draft letter to Minister Thompson, as amended.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, February 23, 2026, the committee resumed its study of recreational and traditional fishing for softshell clam (Mya arenaria).

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analyst for a draft report.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, September 18, 2025, the committee resumed its study of the factors determining opening and closing dates of marine harvesting seasons.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analyst for a draft report.

At 11:36 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
