Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, the committee commenced its study of the Atlantic salmon populations.

Chief Gruben, Myriam Bergeron and Paul White made statements and, with Normand Fiset, Chad Solomon, and Patrick Polchies, answered questions.

At 6:03 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 6:12 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Pierre D’Amours, Nathan Wilbur and William Dalton made statements and, with Mark Hambrook, answered questions.

At 7:05 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
