Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 22, 2025, the committee commenced its study of the 2025-2026 budgetary cycle.

Pursuant to the order of reference of Thursday, June 12, 2025, and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 22, 2025, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C‑4, An Act respecting certain affordability measures for Canadians and another measure.

The Minister made a statement and answered questions.

At 11:58 a.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:07 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Jennifer Keesmatt, Geoff Cap and Richard Lyall made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $13,400, for the study of Bill C-4, An Act respecting certain affordability measures for Canadians and another measure, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $2,750, for the study of 2025-2026 budgetary cycle, be adopted.

At 12:59 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
