Pursuant to the order of reference of Monday, February 2, 2026, and the motion adopted by the House on Monday, February 2, 2026, the committee commenced consideration of Bill C-19, An Act to amend the Income Tax Act.

The Minister made a statement and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $500, for the study of Bill C-19, An Act to amend the Income Tax Act, be adopted.

At 7:33 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
