It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $36,400, for the study of labour force impacts of menopause and perimenopause, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the deadline for the submission of briefs in relation to the study of labour force impacts of menopause and perimenopause be Wednesday, September 30, 2026, and that briefs not exceed two pages (approximately 1,000 words).
It was agreed, — That the clerk and analysts of the committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release to announce the committee's study of labour force impacts of menopause and perimenopause and to invite the public to submit briefs.
The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 11:52 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.
Questioning of the witnesses resumed.
At 12:04 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), the meeting was suspended.
At 12:36 p.m., the meeting resumed.
