It was agreed, — That Iqra Khalid be elected First Vice-Chair of the committee.
The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Gender-Based Violence and Femicides in Canada".
It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, no later than noon on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
ORDERED, — That the clerk of the committee make the necessary arrangements for a press conference to be held after the presentation of the committee's report to the House on gender-based violence and femicides against women, girls and gender-diverse people; and that the committee be represented by the Chair and a representative from each party.
It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $29,800, for the study of antifeminist ideology, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the deadline for the submission of briefs in relation to the study of antifeminist ideology be Friday, December 12, 2025, and that briefs not exceed two pages (approximately 1,000 words).
It was agreed, — That the clerk and analysts of the committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release to announce the committee's study of antifeminist ideology and to invite the public to submit briefs.
At 5:49 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
