Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the committee resumed its study of Canada's immigration system.

Bintou Sacko and Lysiane van der Knaap made statements and, with Jérôme Carette and Odile René, answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the evidence provided by the witnesses during today’s meeting be considered for the study of the International Student Program and study permits.

At 4:34 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 4:40 p.m., the meeting resumed in camera.

International Student Program and Study Permits
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the committee resumed its study of International Student Program and study permits.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

At 5:28 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
