Pursuant to the order of reference of Monday, February 2, 2026, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-18, An Act to implement the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between Canada and Indonesia.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $4,250, for the study of Bill C-18, An Act to implement the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between Canada and Indonesia, be adopted.

Ian Lee, Jason Easton, and Michael Harvey made statements and answered questions.

At 12:00 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:03 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Stuart Trew, Jorge Correa, and Brian Innis made statements and, with Claire Citeau, answered questions.

At 1:03 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
