Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 22, 2025, the committee resumed its study of the effects of technological advances in artificial intelligence on the creative industries.

Erin Finlay, John Illingworth, Travis Croken, Diane Davy, Marie-Christine Morin, Sven Buridans and Kevin Chan made statements and, with Brendan Ouellette and Rachel Curran, answered questions.

At 6:19 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 6:23 p.m., the meeting resumed.

It was agreed, — That, as part of its study on the effects of technological advances in artificial intelligence on the creative industries, the committee will hold two additional meetings on November 3 and 5, 2025.

At 6:34 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
