Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 22, 2025, the committee proceeded to a briefing on the implementation of the Online Streaming Act.

Vicky Eatrides made a statement and, with Scott Hutton and Scott Shortliffe, answered questions.

At 4:43 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 4:45 p.m., the meeting resumed.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

At 6:30 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 6:33 p.m., the meeting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $500.00, for the study of briefing on the implementation of the Online Streaming Act, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $30,500.00, for the study of the effects of technological advances in artificial intelligence on the creative industries, be adopted.

At 6:37 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
