The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the meeting on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, be devoted to considering the draft report related to the study of effects of influencers and social media content on children and adolescents.

It was agreed, — That the meetings on Thursday, May 28, 2026, and Tuesdays, June 2 and 9, 2026, be devoted to the consideration of the study of state of creative and performance spaces across Canada.

It was agreed, — That the committee invite the Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture to appear on Thursday, June 4, 2026, to discuss the study of state of the journalism and media sector.

It was agreed, — That the meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2026, be devoted to giving drafting instructions to the analysts for the reports related to the study of state of the journalism and media sectors and the study of state of creative and performance spaces across Canada.

It was agreed, — That the meetings on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, and Thursday, September 24, 2026, be devoted to the consideration of the report of future of sport in Canada Commission.

It was agreed, — That the meetings on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, be devoted to the consideration of committee business and the draft report related to the study of state of the journalism and media sectors and the study of state of creative and performance spaces across Canada.

At 9:35 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
