Improving the Resilience of Canada's Horticultural Sector
Ottawa, June 19, 2024 -
Today, the House of Commons Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food presented to the House of Commons a report entitled “Improving the Resilience of Canada’s Horticultural Sector.” In preparing this report, the Committee heard from 29 witnesses including stakeholders across the food production and processing chain, as well as academics.
The report contains 13 recommendations to the Government of Canada to respond to ongoing challenges faced by Canadian horticultural producers.
