Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday, December 10, 2019, the committee resumed its study of Canada-China relations.

Charles Burton, Phil Calvert, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, and Paul Evans, by videoconference from Singapore, Singapore, made statements and answered questions.

At 11:30 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:37 a.m., the sitting resumed.

On motion of Peter Fragiskatos, it was agreed, — That the clerk of the committee make the necessary arrangements for a working lunch on Thursday, February 27, 2020.

Jeremy Paltiel, Yves Tiberghien, by videoconference from Vancouver, British Columbia, Carlo Dade, and Sharon Zhengyang Sun, made statements and answered questions.

At 1:01 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
