Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, January 28, 2016, the Committee commenced its study of initiatives toward a family-friendly House of Commons.

Marc Bosc made a statement and answered questions.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

Motion

Arnold Chan moved, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 111, the Committee invite the Chair and members of the Independent Advisory Board for Senate Appointments to appear before the Committee on Thursday, February 4, 2016; or on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, subject to witness availability.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 7; NAYS: 0.

At 12:24 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
