Michael Cooper moved, — That the evidence to be given by Gerald Butts be taken under oath or by solemn affirmation.
The question was put on the motion and it was negatived on the following recorded division:

Gerald Butts made a statement and answered questions.
Lisa Raitt moved, — That, with regard to the study on remediation agreements, the Shawcross Doctrine and the discussions between the Office of the Attorney General and government colleagues, the Committee require the production of all communications, text messages, emails and hand written notes between Gerald Butts, the Hon. Jody Wilson-Raybould, Mathieu Bouchard, Elder Marques, Katie Telford, the Hon. David Lametti, Jessica Prince, Ben Chin, the Hon. Bill Morneau and the Right Hon. Justin Trudeau, whether these communications were carried out using government or non-government media or devices.
After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was negatived on the following recorded division:
