The Standing Committee on National Defence met at 3:29 p.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, Rick Casson, presiding. |
Members of the Committee present: Claude Bachand, Hon. Carolyn Bennett, Dawn Black, Robert Bouchard, Blaine Calkins, Rick Casson, Hon. Ujjal Dosanjh, Cheryl Gallant, Laurie Hawn, Russ Hiebert and Hon. Joe McGuire. |
Acting Members present: Lui Temelkovski for John Cannis. |
In attendance: Library of Parliament: James Cox, Analyst. |
Witnesses: Department of National Defence: Col M.D. Capstick, former Commander, Strategic Advisory Team - Afghanistan . |
| Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on May 16, 2006, the Committee resumed its study of Canadian Forces in Afghanistan. |
