Pursuant to Standing Order 61(2), the House proceeded to the putting of the question on the motion of Mr. Flaherty (Minister of Finance), seconded by Mr. Baird (Minister of the Environment), — That Bill C-50, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on February 26, 2008 and to enact provisions to preserve the fiscal plan set out in that budget, be now read a second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Finance.
