CINQUIÈME RAPPORT

In accordance with its mandate under Standing Order 108(2), your Committee has considered the issue of the request of Taiwan for observer status at the World Health Organization and has agreed to report the following:

Conformément au mandat que lui confère le paragraphe 108(2) du Règlement, votre Comité a examiné la question de la demande de Taiwan de se faire conférer le statut d’observateur au sein de l’Organisation mondiale de la santé et a convenu de faire rapport de ce qui suit :

That the Committee, acknowledging that health issues transcend political borders, supports the bid of Taiwan for observer status at the World Health Organization and that the Committee so report to the House.

Que le Comité, en reconnaissance du fait que les questions de santé transcendent les frontières politiques, appuie la proposition visant à conférer le statut d’observateur à Taïwan au sein de l’Organisation mondiale de la santé et en fasse rapport à la Chambre.

A copy of the relevant Minutes of Proceedings (Meetings No.28) is tabled.
