The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

On motion of Dan Albas, it was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $12,000, for the study of the loan from the Canada Infrastructure Bank to the Mersey River Wind project, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the committee commenced its study of the loan from the Canada Infrastructure Bank to the Mersey River wind project.

Ehren Cory made a statement and, with Sashen Guneratna and Frédéric Duguay, answered questions.

At 5:31 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 5:43 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, December 11, 2025, the committee resumed its study of supporting, diversifying, and modernizing Quebec and Canada’s ports.

Fulvio Fracassi and Luc Boisclair made statements and answered questions.

At 6:05 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 6:28 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
