Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, September 18, 2025, the committee resumed its study of changing landscape of truck drivers in Canada.

The Ministers made statements and answered questions.

At 9:27 a.m., the meeting resumed.

Sandra Hassan, Michael MacPhee, Brenda Baxter, Gary Robertson and Melanie Vanstone answered questions.

Motion

Xavier Barsalou-Duval moved, — That the Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure, and Communities request that the Departments of Transport, Revenue, and Employment forward to the committee clerk, within 30 days of the adoption of this motion, all correspondence, reports, emails, and documents relating to the issue of non-compliance in the trucking industry.

Debate arose thereon.
