Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the subcommittee on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the subcommittee commenced its study of internally and externally displaced people across the world.

François Audet, Christina Clark-Kazak, Asma Faizi, Gauri Sreenivasan, Tracey Maulfair and Dimon Liu made statements and, with Azadeh Tamjeedi, answered questions.

At 4:57 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 4:59 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 5:27 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 5:35 p.m., the meeting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the subcommittee on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the subcommittee resumed its study of the human rights situation in Sudan.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report

The subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to subcommittee business.

ORDERED, — That the clerk and analysts of the subcommittee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for distribution and for publication on the committee’s website regarding the persecution of Christians in Nigeria.

ORDERED, — That the clerk communicate the news release on the persecution of Christians in Nigeria to the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development, today.

ORDERED, — That the clerk of the subcommittee contact the witnesses who testified on the study of the human rights situation in Sudan to request further input in written form.

At 6:05 p.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
