Pursuant to Standing Order 107(1), the subcommittee resumed its study on budget submissions.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs be granted a study budget of $26,200.00 for its study of the barriers to entrepreneurship among veterans.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage be granted a study budget of $25,700.00 for its study of the effects of influencers and social media content on children and adolescents.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage be granted a supplementary study budget of $2,000.00 for its study of the effects of technological advances in artificial intelligence on the creative industries.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on International Trade be granted a study budget of $22,200.00 for its study of the Canadian supply chains, forced labour, and related imports.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration be granted a study budget of $32,000.00 for its study of the subject matter of Bill C-12, An Act respecting certain measures relating to the security of Canada's borders and the integrity of the Canadian immigration system and respecting other related security measures.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development be granted a study budget of $49,500.00 for its study of effectiveness, potential improvements and capability of Canada’s 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development be granted a study budget of $47,700.00 for its study of electric vehicle availability standard.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development be granted a study budget of $38,500.00 for its study of protecting Canadian residents from extreme weather events.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics be granted a study budget of $27,250.00 for its study of the challenges posed by artificial intelligence and its regulation.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development be granted a supplementary study budget of $1,500.00 for its study of the situation in Haiti and Canada’s response.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on the Status of Women be granted a supplementary study budget of $500.00 for its study of gender-based violence and femicides against women, girls and gender-diverse people.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on the Status of Women be granted a study budget of $29,800.00 for its study of antifeminist ideology.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Finance be granted a study budget of $32,450.00 for its study of the use of offshore tax havens.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans be granted a study budget of $35,400.00 for its study of marine and coastal protections.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities be granted a study budget of $2,500.00 for its study of government mandates and key priorities.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities be granted a study budget of $38,650.00 for its study of the impacts of temporary foreign worker program on the labour market.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities be granted a study budget of $18,950.00 for its study of the definition of “work” and the use of section 107 in the Canada Labour Code.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Official Languages be granted a study budget of $12,600.00 for its study of the use of French in government communications and in federal institutions.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Official Languages be granted a study budget of $13,700.00 for its study of the quotas of French-language music imposed on French language media.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on National Defence be granted a study budget of $36,500.00 for its consideration of Bill C-11, An Act to amend the National Defence Act and other Acts.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates be granted a study budget of $2,750.00 for its study of the creation and planning of the Defence Investment Agency.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs be granted a study budget of $8,750.00 for its study of the actions of the "Longest Ballot Committee" in recent Canadian elections.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Natural Resources be granted a study budget of $51,000.00 for its study of the forest industry.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Natural Resources be granted a supplementary study budget of $5,500.00 for its study of the development of critical minerals in Canada.

It was agreed, — That the Subcommittee on International Human Rights of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development be granted a study budget of $48,250.00 for its study of the human rights situation in Sudan.

It was agreed, — That the Subcommittee on International Human Rights of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development be granted a study budget of $14,750.00 for its study of internally and externally displaced people across the world.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Science and Research be granted a study budget of $45,000.00 for its study of private sector investment in research and development in Canada.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on International Trade be granted a travel budget of $302,851.34 to travel to Brasilia, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the Winter – Spring of 2026, in relation to its study of trade diversification.
