Pursuant to Standing Order 107(1), the subcommittee resumed its study on budget submissions.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs be granted a study budget of $60,100.00 for its study of suicide prevention among veterans.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food be granted a study budget of $25,900.00 for its update on the implementation of the Grocery Code of Conduct.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage be granted a study budget of $30,500.00 for its study of the effects of technological advances in artificial intelligence on the creative industries.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on International Trade be granted a study budget of $54,450.00 for its study of Canada and the forthcoming CUSMA review.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics be granted a study budget of $40,750.00 for its review of the Conflict of Interest Act.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development be granted a study budget of $27,300.00 for its study of Canada’s Arctic strategy.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on the Status of Women be granted a study budget of $34,750.00 for its study of the section 810 of the Criminal Code and women’s safety.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Finance be granted a study budget of $2,750.00 for its study of the 2025-2026 budgetary cycle.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Finance be granted a study budget of $13,400.00 for its consideration of Bill C-4, An Act respecting certain affordability measures for Canadians and another measure.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans be granted a study budget of $22,750.00 for its study of the attribution of redfish quotas and exploratory lobster fishing licenses.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans be granted a study budget of $36,050.00 for its review of the Fisheries Act.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Health be granted a study budget of $2,000.00 for its study of women’s health.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Health be granted a study budget of $30,600.00 for its study of the impact of immigration policy on healthcare and barriers to integrating internationally trained professionals.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Health be granted a study budget of $16,550.00 for its study of the opioid epidemic and toxic drug crisis in Canada.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Health be granted a study budget of $29,500.00 for its study of antimicrobial resistance.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities be granted a study budget of $58,500.00 for its study of youth employment in Canada.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Indigenous and Northern Affairs be granted a study budget of $58,050.00 for its study of Indigenous policing and public safety.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Industry and Technology be granted a study budget of $41,650.00 for its study of Canada’s underlying productivity gaps and capital outflow.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Industry and Technology be granted a study budget of $49,900.00 for its study of defence industrial strategy.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights be granted a study budget of $69,400.00 for its study of the bail system, sentencing and the handling of repeat violent offenders in Canada.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights be granted a study budget of $59,200.00 for its consideration of Bill C-9, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (hate propaganda, hate crime and access to religious or cultural places).

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Official Languages be granted a study budget of $41,900.00 for its study of minority-language education continuum.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on National Defence be granted a study budget of $31,900.00 for its study of Francophone and Indigenous members of the Canadian Armed Forces.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on National Defence be granted a study budget of $31,900.00 for its study of the nexus between national defence, national security and Canada’s critical minerals sector.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security be granted a study budget of $10,000.00 for its study of Canada-United States border management.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Science and Research be granted a study budget of $55,250.00 for its study of antimicrobial resistance.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities be granted a study budget of $30,800.00 for its study of the changing landscape of truck drivers in Canada.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Natural Resources be granted a travel budget of $61,230.60 to travel to Sudbury, Ontario; Saguenay, Quebec; Montréal, Quebec; and Québec, Quebec, in the Fall of 2025, in relation to its study of development of critical minerals in Canada.
