Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(c), the committee proceeded to a briefing with the Interim Parliamentary Budget Officer on two recent reports: Federal Infrastructure Spending and Economic and Fiscal Outlook – September 2025.

Jason Jacques made a statement, and with the other witnesses, answered questions.

Committee Business
The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study on the situation at Canada Post, the parties submit their prioritized list of suggested witnesses to the clerk no later than Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

It was agreed, — That the parties prepare their recommendations in advance of the first meeting for consideration of the draft report on the purchase of the official residence of the Consul General in New York, scheduled for Thursday, October 2, 2025.

At 5:06 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
