Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the committee resumed its study of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Modernization.

Jonathan Quinn made a statement and, with Jamie Speiser-Blanchet, Peter Hammerschmidt and Neil O'Rourke, answered questions.

At 12:10 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:22 p.m., the meeting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee undertake a study of four meetings regarding the Canadian Army restructuring plan, Inflection Point 2025, and the impact it will have on operational readiness, training, equipment needs, and the Reserves; that the committee invite the Commander of the Canadian Army, former reservists, provincial and territorial emergency management organizations (EMOs) and other expert witnesses; and that the committee report its findings to the House.

At 1:07 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
