Pursuant to the order of reference of Friday, October 10, 2025, and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 23, 2025, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-11, An Act to amend the National Defence Act and other Acts.

Professor Michel W. Drapeau, Lieutenant Colonel Rory Fowler (retired), Charlotte Duval-Lantoine and Professor Megan MacKenzie made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $500.00, for the briefing by the Minister of National Defence on his Mandate and North Atlantic Treaty Organization Defence Spending, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $36,500.00, for the study of Bill C-11, An Act to amend the National Defence Act and other Acts, be adopted.

At 10:19 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
