Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, April 16, 2026, the committee commenced its study of economic and supply chain impacts of U.S. tariffs on Canada's metallurgical and advanced manufacturing sectors.

Nicole Vlanich, Jonathon Azzopardi and Isabelle Liard made statements and answered questions.

At 4:33 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 4:42 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Catherine Blanchet, Chris Vander Park and Cyrus Jebely made statements and, with Diane Ricci Woodiwiss, answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $21,500.00, for the study of Economic and Supply Chain Impacts of U.S. Tariffs on Canada's Metallurgical and Advanced Manufacturing Sectors, be adopted.

At 5:49 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
