Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Finance on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, the committee commenced its study of subject matter of clauses 400 to 456 (Division 25) of Bill C-15, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on November 4, 2025.

The Minister made a statement and, with Paul Hébert, Shalene Curtis-Micallef, Jocelyne Voisin, Kendal Weber, Ryan Higgs, Nancy Hamzawi, Kimby Barton and Natasha Crowcroft, answered questions.

At 4:33 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 4:37 p.m., the meeting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for the submission of briefs in relation to the study of antimicrobial resistance be Sunday, March 15, 2026.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $500, for the briefing on the National Emergency Strategic Stockpile (NESS), be adopted.

At 5:37 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
