Pursuant to the order of reference of Thursday, June 12, 2025, and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 22, 2025, the committee commenced consideration of Bill C-4, An Act respecting certain affordability measures for Canadians and another measure.

Stefania Bartucci, Gervais Coulombe and Cathy Hawara made statements and, with Isabelle Brault, Luisa Rizzo, Lindsay Gwyer, Nina Gormanns and Amanda Riddell, answered questions.

At 5:22 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 5:33 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Kim G.C. Moody, Isabelle Demers and Mike Moffatt made statements and answered questions.

At 6:36 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
