Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 15, 2025, the committee resumed its study of antifeminist ideology.

Esli Chan, Michel Dorais, Shari Graydon and Emmanuelle Parent made statements and answered questions.

At 11:57 a.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:01 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Witness-Témoin 1 and Luc M. made statements and answered questions.

At 12:40 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 12:45 p.m., the meeting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the usual practices of the committee concerning access to and distribution of documents,

  1. up to three associate members of the committee per party be authorized to receive the notices of meetings and notices of motion and be granted access to the digital binder;
  2. that the associate members be designated by the offices of the whips of each recognized party and sent to the committee clerk; and
  3. that the provisions of this motion expire as of Friday, September 25, 2026, unless otherwise ordered.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Bill C-225, An Act to amend the Criminal Code, the committee offer mental health support to the witnesses, and that the clerk be authorized to make the necessary arrangements, if requested.

It was agreed, — That the proposed revised budget in the amount of $17, 150, for the study of Bill C-225, An Act to amend the Criminal Code, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the members of the committee submit to the clerk all of their proposed amendments to Bill C-225, An Act to amend the Criminal Code no later than noon on Monday, March 2, 2026.

At 12:57 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
