The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $500, for the study of the mandate and priorities of the Secretary of State (International Development), be adopted.

At 12:12 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Embassy of the Republic of Haiti
• H.E. Anthony Dessources, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti to Canada
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the committee resumed its study of the situation in Haiti and Canada's response.

Anthony Dessources made a statement and answered questions.

At 1:05 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
