Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h) and the motion adopted on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the committee commenced its study of the challenges posed by artificial intelligence and its regulation.

Antoine Guilmain and Malo Bourgon made statements and answered questions.

At 5:37 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 5:50 p.m., the meeting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, and the order of reference of Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the committee resumed its review of the Conflict of Interest Act.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 5:54 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 6:00 p.m., the meeting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Proposed Review of the Conflict of Interest Act".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

At 6:19 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
