Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 22, 2025, the committee resumed its study of state of the journalism and media sectors.

Marie-Eve Carignan, Cheryl McKenzie, Mike Omelus, David Errington, Kiumars Rezvanifar and Madeline Ziniak made statements and, with Joel Fortune, answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the committee shall add at least one more meeting to its study on the state of the journalism and media sectors.

At 10:23 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
