Pursuant to Standing Order 81(4), the committee commenced consideration of the Main Estimates 2022-23: Vote 1 under Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, Vote 1 under Canadian Energy Regulator, Vote 1 under Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, Votes 1, 5 and 10 under Department of Natural Resources and Vote 1 under Northern Pipeline Agency, referred to the committee on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

The Chair called Vote 1 under Atomic Energy of Canada Limited.

The Minister made a statement and, with John Hannaford, Frank Des Rosiers and Sébastien Labelle, answered questions.

By unanimous consent, the Chair called Vote 1 under Canadian Energy Regulator, Vote 1 under Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, Votes 1, 5 and 10 under Department of Natural Resources and Vote 1 under Northern Pipeline Agency.

Vote 1 under Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, Vote 1 under Canadian Energy Regulator, Vote 1 under Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, Votes 1, 5 and 10 under Department of Natural Resources and Vote 1 under Northern Pipeline Agency, less the amounts voted in the interim supply, carried on division.

ORDERED, — That the Chair report Vote 1 under Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, Vote 1 under Canadian Energy Regulator, Vote 1 under Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, Votes 1, 5 and 10 under Department of Natural Resources and Vote 1 under Northern Pipeline Agency, less the amounts voted in the interim supply, to the House.

At 6:22 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 6:25 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, the committee resumed its study of the emissions reduction fund - onshore program.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 6:59 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
