Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the traceability of fish and seafood products.

Alexandra Leclerc and Claire Canet made statements and answered questions.

At 12:05 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:11 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Kurtis Hayne, Molly Aylward with Ian MacPherson, and Christina Callegari made statements and answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $3,325.00, for the study of the traceability of fish and seafood products, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,300.00, for the study of flood control and mitigation systems in British Columbia, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for the submission of witness lists in relation to the study of marine cargo container spills on Canada’s marine environment be 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, March 4, 2022.

At 1:08 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
