Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the impacts of Hurricane Fiona and the climate crisis on Atlantic Canada.

The committee proceeded to give instructions to the analysts for the drafting of a letter.

It was agreed, — That, for the study of the impacts of Hurricane Fiona and the climate crisis on Atlantic Canada, the members of the committee submit to the clerk their written recommendations for the drafting of a letter no later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022.

It was agreed, — That, for the study of the impacts of Hurricane Fiona and the climate crisis on Atlantic Canada, the deadline for the submission of briefs be 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of science at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 5:25 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
