Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee commenced its study of human trafficking of women, girls and gender diverse people.

Daniel Anson, Michelle Van De Bogart and Kimberly Taplin made statements and, with Jennifer Demers, answered questions.

At 12:12 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:14 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Julia Drydek and Kyla Clark made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of human trafficking of women, girls and gender diverse people, the draft news release be adopted and published on the committee’s website.

At 1:08 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
