The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $14,345.00, for the study of resource development and violence against Indigenous women and girls, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, as part of its study on resource development and violence against Indigenous women and girls, the committee accept briefs written in Inuktitut, Algonquin, Denesuline (Chipewyan), Michif Cree and Blackfoot.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee commenced its study of resource development and violence against Indigenous women and girls.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 5:17 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 5:34 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
