Minutes of Proceedings
Anthony Housefather moved, — That, in relation to the committee’s study on safe sport and the testimony it has heard from previous witnesses, that Canada Soccer President, Charmaine Crooks, be summoned to appear before the committee for two hours on Thursday May 4th, to clarify her position on issues surrounding Canada Soccer including responses provided by previous witnesses.
After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to.
Rachael Thomas moved, — That, considering the Auditor General report tabled on Monday, March 27th titled “the Progress on access to high-speed Internet and mobile cellular services lags behind for rural and remote communities and First Nations reserves”, the committee invite Karen Hogan, Auditor General of Canada, to testify before committee as soon as possible for no less than 2 hours.
Debate arose thereon.
It was agreed, — That the debate be now adjourned.
The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 12:42 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.
At 12:57 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
